To book an appointment with Service Canada for renewing your Canadian passport, you can start by visiting the official Service Canada website. Navigate to the “Passport Services” section and select the option to book an appointment. You will need to choose a convenient Service Canada location and select a time that fits your schedule. Before confirming your appointment, ensure you have all necessary documents ready, such as your current passport and any required forms. It’s recommended to book your appointment well in advance, especially during busy periods, to ensure you receive your renewed passport in time for any planned travel.
Step by step instructions
Step 1:
Once you have entered the appointment booking site, select the Passport Service tab on top. Then click “I have read and understand” to continue to the next page.
Step 2:
Enter the basic information.
At the bottom part, select the travel range days that reflects your situation. Select the number of passport application by sliding the blue bar. Select “yes or no” under the last question.
Once you have answered all questions, click “next”
Step 3:
If you require any of the additional accommodation services, click “yes”. Otherwise, click “no” to continue to next page.
Step 4:
You may either click “Use my Location” to let the system automatically detect your closed Service Canada office based on your IP location.
You may enter your address and click “Search” to find your closest Service Canada office.
Step 5:
Based on the search results, please select the Service Canada centre of your choice by clicking the box that represents the centre.
Step 6:
Select your date and time based on the availabilities shown on the calendar.
Once you have selected your date and time, click “Book My Appointment”
Step 7:
Once the appointment is booked, you will be prompt to the appointment confirmation page.
